Tell It Tuesday

Published by niacaraw

I am an educator, a wife of 25 years, and mother of three beautiful children. I have taught the word of God to all ages and love to share it in creative ways. I've always had a passion for written expression. Over the years, I have documented my personal thoughts and prayers. Poems, devotionals, worship songs, and more have come from my life experiences. Now, I am ready to share them with the hope that lives and hearts will be changed as well as greatly blessed. I am flawed but striving for perfection in Christ. Although I have fallen short of the glory of God, I am forgiven. I am loved with an everlasting love. I am FREE!

  1. God shows goodness on a daily basis. I remember when my mom died July 2005. I was also going through a divorce the same year. I was very close to my mom; talking to her 5 or more times a day. I was able to return to school, teach, and win awards during the school year while I was grieving. Even though the tears never stopped flowing, I got up! I prayed to God to be a light despite the deep pain. I know others prayed for me when I was at a lost of words. Now I continue to pray for others when they are going through tragic experiences. I cry with them. Pray with them. But most of all, praise with them. God is a good God, better than Good! He loves and cares for us. We are never alone.

  2. The Lord has truly been good to me. I woke up this morning and my heart was beating right on time and I’m in my right mind. I have a beautiful family. I have a great home to live in. I have food in my refrigerator. I have clothes and shoes to wear. I’m not broke. I have a career. Most importantly, I’m saved and filled the Holy Ghost. Thank you Father for giving us Jesus. Thank you Jesus for giving your life so we may live.

  3. God is indeed everything we need and more! On just yesterday, I reflected on how good God has been over this past month. The favor that He’s given and the love that He’s shown to me and my family. I’m still learning that no matter what is going on in our lives, it’s not bigger than God. All we have to do is trust Him and know that if He be for us, it is more than the world against us!

  4. God shows His goodness when He wakes me up every morning. In 2009, when I woke up and didn’t have any vision in my right eye and I asked Him to save my left eye with vision. Guess what, HE DID IT. I find myself thanking Him a lot throughout the day. Just when I think I can’t make it I remember Phil 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

  5. I’m on a new faith journey with God and through trials, many delays, road blocks and no’s… I praise and thank him.. I’m learning to rest in whatever he allows because it’s always for my good in the end.. I’m really learning to trust without understanding and that his will is always better than mine.. love the places he’s taking me as I venture out of my comfort zone and have to depend solely on him…and my growth in him!!

  6. Proverbs 16:24 tells us that gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
On today, I received an email from one of the nurses who wanted to express her thanks to me for being kind to their patients. It may not sound like much, but to me it meant a lot. It just goes to show that our works, whether they be great or small, they don’t go unnoticed. When we take the time to bless others, in return, we will be blessed!
