A Prayer for Direction

Lord, We thank you for your steadfast love and your word.We ask that you will forgive us for doubting your great love for us and your power at work in our lives. Help us to remember that you are the author and finisher of faith, our saviour, and deliverer.

You are our strong tower and refuge in times of trouble. Father, your word is a light unto our feet and lamp unto our paths. Lord, we pray that in these times of uncertainty, that you will guide us with your light. We pray that in moments when darkness tries to whisper to us that your word will speak even louder. Let your perfect love cast out all fear and cause our hearts to be arrested by what your word declares for our lives. You’ve promised us that you’ll never leave or forsake us and we can call on your great name. You are faithful to keep us. Help us to fix our hearts and minds on things that bring us spiritual life. Give us grace for this journey and lead us in your righteousness. May your spirit give us clarity and peace. We thank you.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

I am an educator, a wife of 24 years, and mother of three beautiful children. I have taught the word of God to all ages and love to share it in creative ways. I've always had a passion for written expression. Over the years, I have documented my personal thoughts and prayers. Poems, devotionals, worship songs, and more have come from my life experiences. Now, I am ready to share them with the hope that lives and hearts will be changed as well as greatly blessed. I am flawed but striving for perfection in Christ. Although I have fallen short of the glory of God, I am forgiven. I am loved with an everlasting love. I am FREE!
