What If?

Have you ever paused to ask yourself: What if?

What if everything you have gone through—every victory, every heartbreak, every lesson—wasn’t random? What if every experience, every closed door, and every open window has been preparing you for this very season of your life? Whether it’s in your profession, relationships, or personal growth, what if God has been equipping you all along?

I can’t help but think about David. The young shepherd boy who faced a giant when others trembled. But before he ever stood before Goliath, David spent years in the fields tending sheep. He fought off lions and bears when no one was watching. Those battles in the wilderness—small in the eyes of others—were training grounds for the greater battle ahead.

When David stepped onto the battlefield, King Saul tried to equip him with armor. But it didn’t fit. David chose instead to use what he had: a sling and five smooth stones. He relied not on human armor, but on the provision and faithfulness of God.

David knew what he had in his hand, and he believed it was enough because God was with him.

So I ask you today: What’s in your hand?

Maybe it’s a talent you’ve overlooked, a passion you’ve been afraid to pursue, or a story you’ve been hesitant to share. Maybe it’s the wisdom gained from hard seasons or the compassion born out of your own pain.

Whatever it is, use it. Use it in faith. The same God who equipped David for his battle has equipped you for yours. The tools, the gifts, the experiences you hold—they are not accidental. They are your stones for the giants you’re called to face.

It’s easy to doubt. To think we need more education, more connections, or more resources. But what if everything you need, you already possess? What if the only missing piece is your faith to believe God will provide the rest?

Step out in faith. Use what’s in your hand. Trust God for the victory.

Just as God used David’s sling and stone to bring down Goliath, He can use what you have—right now—to overcome the challenges before you. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Don’t disqualify yourself because you feel unprepared. If God has brought you to this moment, He has also equipped you for it.

The battle may seem daunting. The giant may look intimidating. But remember: you don’t fight alone. God’s provision will meet you when you move in faith.

So, what if this is your moment?
What if you are more prepared than you realize?
What if all you need to do is trust God and use what’s in your hand?

The giant will fall. The victory is already won. All God asks is that you step onto the battlefield with faith, knowing He fights for you.

What if today is the day you finally believe that?

Blessings,
Nia
