Who Else is Going to Do It?

Let’s talk real for a minute.

You were created on purpose for a purpose, and nobody else can walk it out quite like you. In a world that constantly pushes filters, competition, and comparison, it’s easy to lose sight of the truth: God didn’t create you to be a copy of someone else. He created you to be authentically you, fearfully and wonderfully made, with a calling that carries His fingerprints.

So… who else is going to do what you were born to do?

Nobody.

You are not “one of many.” You are the one for the job God designed you to do. And trying to fit into someone else’s lane? That’ll only leave you tired, unfulfilled, and disconnected from the assignment heaven placed on your life.

Whether it’s your business, your ministry, your career, or your creative gift, your purpose requires your authenticity. You can’t show up in power if you’re pretending. You can’t glorify God when you’re wearing a mask. And you surely can’t impact lives trying to be a watered-down version of someone else.

There is no competition in purpose. No need to scroll your way into insecurity. No need to compare chapters when God is writing a custom story through your life. What He gave you, your voice, your gift, your story, it’s enough. But more than that… It’s necessary.

So stop hiding. Stop waiting. Stop doubting.

Ask God to show you what He placed in your hands, and then boldly walk in it. It’s not just for your sake, but because someone else is waiting on your obedience. Your purpose doesn’t just impact you. Like Abraham, your obedience could be the very thing that blesses generations to come.

God didn’t just call you to shine in church or online. He called you to show up in the real world, too. In that boardroom. In that classroom. On that Zoom call. On that stage. In that shop. On that block or wherever you find yourself.

So I’ll ask you again:

Who else is going to do it?

Nobody but you.

Be who God created. Walk like you’re chosen. Live like you’re assigned.

Because you are.

FREE looks good on you.

I am a former educator, entrepreneur, wife, and mother of three beautiful children. I have taught the word of God to all ages and love to share it in creative ways. I've always had a passion for written expression. Over the years, I have documented my personal thoughts and prayers. Poems, devotionals, worship songs, and more have come from my life experiences. Now, I am ready to share them with the hope that lives and hearts will be changed as well as greatly blessed. I am flawed but striving for perfection in Christ. Although I have fallen short of the glory of God, I am forgiven. I am loved with an everlasting love. I am FREE!

  1. I remember those feelings of trying to copy someone else in my younger years, when I was walking through the haze of figuring out who I was. When God grabbed hold of me, I found it was much more peaceful to just follow Him, and He showed me the way.
