All true transformation begins in the heart. The Bible teaches, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23). Our heart is the seat of our emotions, desires, and affections. If our hearts are not right with God, then the rest of our lives fall out of balance.
Moving our hearts is giving the secret places we’ve kept guarded. It’s letting God soften the hard places and heal the broken ones. Sometimes, life’s disappointments, betrayals, or delays can exhaust our hearts. But God is asking us to let Him take the stony places and make them flesh again (Ezekiel 36:26).
When we move our hearts towards God:
We begin loving differently.
We give grace more freely.
We align our desires with His, rather than our own.
This change of heart does not take place overnight but is a daily decision to lean toward God’s presence and allow Him to purify us.
Prayer:
Lord, tune my heart so that it beats in rhythm with Yours. Heal what is broken, soften what is hard, and teach me to love like You love. May the overflow of my heart bear fruit that honors You. Amen.

Yes; God wants ALL of us, and for good reason. He loves us, will heal us, and is always good to us (even if it doesn’t always feel good to us 😉).
