When Love Walks In

When love walks in. Fear is checked at the door. Humbled hearts bow in submission, Upon the holy threshing floor.

When love walks in, Blinded eyes see again. A blanket lined in God’s glory, Covers a multitude of sin.

When love walks in, Divided nations unify, Wisdom comes from Heaven, And shines the light on every lie.

When love walks in, The broken is made whole, Reminded of the price paid. For every wounded soul.

When love walks in, Total strangers become kin. Regardless of how different, Its power is able to transcend.

When love walks in, Smiles are born from sorrow, Hope rises up on wings of eagles, Because of the promise of tomorrow.

When love walks in, Spirit reigns over worldliness, His Spirit is a teacher, So His children He can bless.

When love walks in, All darkness and suffering will end, Love has declared to return, Having the last word when He comes again.

When LOVE…walks…in…

I am an educator, a wife of 24 years, and mother of three beautiful children. I have taught the word of God to all ages and love to share it in creative ways. I've always had a passion for written expression. Over the years, I have documented my personal thoughts and prayers. Poems, devotionals, worship songs, and more have come from my life experiences. Now, I am ready to share them with the hope that lives and hearts will be changed as well as greatly blessed. I am flawed but striving for perfection in Christ. Although I have fallen short of the glory of God, I am forgiven. I am loved with an everlasting love. I am FREE!

  1. “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another…1 John 4:7-11
