Freedom Friday

F: Forgive
Ephesians 4:32
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (NIV)

Be cognizant of how much you’ve been forgiven by the Father and extend the same forgiveness to others.

R: Repent
Proverbs 28:13
Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

When sin is present in your life, quickly ask God for forgiveness and make the changes necessary to move forward in His truth.

E: Examine Yourself Daily
2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Prove yourselves. Do you not know yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

Consider your ways (words, thoughts, deeds) and make sure they are aligned with God’s truth.

E: Exercise Obedience to God’s Word in Your Life

James 1:22

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

John 13:17

If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

Walk out your faith. Obey the word of God. Make it the governing authority and standard by which you live your life.

I am a former educator, entrepreneur, wife, and mother of three beautiful children. I have taught the word of God to all ages and love to share it in creative ways. I've always had a passion for written expression. Over the years, I have documented my personal thoughts and prayers. Poems, devotionals, worship songs, and more have come from my life experiences. Now, I am ready to share them with the hope that lives and hearts will be changed as well as greatly blessed. I am flawed but striving for perfection in Christ. Although I have fallen short of the glory of God, I am forgiven. I am loved with an everlasting love. I am FREE!
