What If?

What if the very thing you’re dreading right now is the exact thing God is using to position you for something greater?

What if the delay isn’t punishment—but protection?
What if the closed door isn’t rejection—but redirection?
What if the season that feels like loss is actually planting seeds for a harvest you can’t yet see?

Romans 8:28 tells us, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

All things. Not just the wins. Not just the breakthroughs. Not just the “Instagram-worthy” moments.
All things—the heartbreaks, the waiting rooms, the missed opportunities, the things you cried over in silence, the doors that slammed shut, the people who walked away, the opportunities that vanished.
All of it.

I don’t know what your “What if?” is today.
What if I had made a different decision?
What if I hadn’t lost that job?
What if they had stayed?
What if I had been stronger, faster, better?

But here’s what I do know: God is never random.
Even when life feels chaotic, heaven is not panicking. There is a divine thread being woven through every season of your life—yes, even this one. Especially this one.

We serve a God who sees the whole story while we’re staring at one single page.
A God who specializes in turning burdens into blessings and pain into purpose.
A God who is never finished with your story, even when you feel stuck in the middle of it.

So the next time the “What ifs” come rushing in, try flipping the script.
What if this is God setting me up?
What if there’s something beautiful being built beneath the surface?
What if the breakthrough is closer than it looks?

Lean in. Keep trusting.
God is working—even here.
Even now.
And all things really do work together for the good of those who love Him.

So, take a deep breath and believe this:
There’s purpose in your process.
There’s grace in your growing.
And there’s a plan—even when you can’t see it.

What if… this season is preparing you for your greatest “yes” yet?

Be encouraged, my friends. Lean into what you know about the Father to be true. He is faithful in finishing what He has started in your life.

Blessings,

I am a former educator, entrepreneur, wife, and mother of three beautiful children. I have taught the word of God to all ages and love to share it in creative ways. I've always had a passion for written expression. Over the years, I have documented my personal thoughts and prayers. Poems, devotionals, worship songs, and more have come from my life experiences. Now, I am ready to share them with the hope that lives and hearts will be changed as well as greatly blessed. I am flawed but striving for perfection in Christ. Although I have fallen short of the glory of God, I am forgiven. I am loved with an everlasting love. I am FREE!
